Hello, all.
I combined two different topics together in this post.
First, if anyone uses the Amazon Prime Music App, is there a way to delete unwanted music? For some reason, I can figure out how to download songs but not delete ones I'm getting tired of listening to.
Secondly, other than BookShare as well as Learning Ally, are there any other alternatives to locating books for college? Like, is there a resource, similar to the Kindle, which would provide me timely access to materials at the same time as my sighted peers?
Thanks, and I appreciate any assistance this community is able to provide.
Nathan.
Are you asking about the music on your phone, or computer?
I use them both, so will tell you if you answer this.
What you do on one is done on the other, so it doesn't matter, but I'll tell you specificly if you wish?
Regarding books, there is a website called coursesmart.com which offers pc based access to text books. They probably have an IOS app to but I haven't checked. You'll pay a reduced price for the book from the price of a print copy or you can pay $200 for up to 6 books. I think that's accurate.
I haven't ever used them but I know there's googlebooks and Ibooks as well.
Also, if you purchase hardcopies of many of your books, they may come with a link to an online version. I took a business class last year and used cengage.com to read the online version of the print book I purchased. What I would do would be a google search including the words digital book with the title of the book you need. I hope that helps.
As a last resort, you could contact the publisher of the book you need. They may sell an electronic version. I did that with a Kendle-Hunt book last year. It was a crapy PDF scan of the book but it worked.
Good luck.
Hi Wayne,
Yes, I am referring to deleting songs using Amazon Music on the phone. Thanks for your helps regarding the books.
This is my method for deleting songs from Amazon’s app on the phone.
You asked me on the public said a couple days ago, but I’ve been gone, so haven’t had time to post this for you.
What I do is.
We are talking about the iPhone in portrait view.
On the top left side I have a menu button.
I click that on, and go down to songs.
I click that on and now I have the list of songs.
On the right of any title I have a more options button.
I click that on, and it gives me things I can do. One of them is delete.
I hope that helps.
Cool, will try that. Thanks!!
